SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed about the substantial number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The assistance place established for intervention activities a substantial influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
